A few years ago I was at a family gathering for my wife's side of the family. A Nephew of hers had just been laid off because his company was moving to Mexico. The company made files and he was highly skilled and was in charge of the tempering. Too hard and they break and too soft and they wear out fast. Well he was upset and complained about corporate greed. He also was a car nut and owned a very nice 1950 Ford that was worth about 20,000 dollars. I asked him if he would take 50,000 for his car. He got excited and said would you pay 50,000? I responded that you wouldn't take that would you as that would be greedy. I then explained that this illustrated that greed was simply human nature and everyone wanted to make as much as possible. I then told him that his problem was not that the owners were greedy but was with the politicians in Washington. They set up a system "NAFTA" where it was profitable to move a company and all the machinery to Mexico have to train a new work force and have all that down time and still make more money than leaving the plant where it was. This is just one example of the harm government does to workers in the US and a reason for Trumps popularity!
