Battleship Vs Battleship • Invincible explodeas at the Falklands.... what happens next.

In V.E. Tarrant, "Battlecruiser Incincible" I found the following detail on one of the hits on HMS Invincible during the battle of the Falkands:

 p66:

"An 8.2" shell struck the ship below the side armour under "P" Turret. it tore a hole in the side plating, four feet by two feet, which flooded number five coal bunker (the sea washing out most of the coal) and broke up (without exploding) against the thinly armoured bulkhead separating the bunker from the magazine."

I don't know how lucky Invincible was in this case, but it seems possible that a correctly working shell or a slightly different trajectory might have sunk the ship, Jutland style. the bulkhead mentioned here is the one along the 12" magazine supplying P and Q turrets.

So, suppose Invincible is sunk.... what happens next ?

What is the response in the press ? Will the RN handle its BC differently ? Will Fisher have to go in exile on South Georgia ?
