In a turnaround that surprised many, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser – who once fought against Trump’s ideas – announced on December 31 that she had a “great meeting” with the President-elect.
They discussed their “shared priorities” for his upcoming term. “President Trump and I both want Washington, DC to be the best, most beautiful city in the world,” Bowser stated, “and we want the capital city to reflect the strength of our nation.”
This is becoming a trend.
