Aegis has been in the US and allied fleets now for something like 40 years. In that time, up until the last few months, I don't know how many missiles have been fired under it's control in anything like actual combat, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the single digits. However since the Israel-Gaza/Iran war, it's suddenly getting a workout. We've fired enough missiles that the navy is actually looking to bump up production. And with the Iranian attack on Israel, it's actually used it's ABM capacity, and fired SM-3s. And it seems to be working quite well.
