A note for those who think pressure of immigrants is a symptom of economic failure, it isn't. Not in the countries they're trying to get into anyway.

I don't say the current attempt to "shock" Argentina into better economics is the right way to achieve that goal but the consequences of poor economic choices include emigration.
FWIW I'll guess that "shock" economics will work like "crash" diets, either simply fail or make the symptoms worse. It all comes back to learning, you give people choices they have to understand them to make the right ones.
"I believe it will be absolutely necessary that you should prevail on our future masters to learn their letters."
We haven't done very well at that but not quite as badly as some. Fortunately most of our competitors haven't done much better.
